I had a double espresso at Subrosa yesterday.  I often get a smooth shot with an aftertaste of tobacco and dirt.  They have Four Barrel which I used to really love but I’m kind of getting tired of.  This shot was not so wonderful, I’m guessing due to some inconsistencies between baristi.  It had a sour taste to it like rotten fruit and it was missing that richness and smoothness that I love.  Of course I won’t complain about the mid 60s January weather and a nice afternoon on their small patio! 🙂
